This website sets no cookies of its own. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel, no session recording, no profile of you.

No consent banner, because nothing here needs consent.

Two things do reach beyond the page: a strictly necessary security cookie our hosting provider may set, and a request to Google's font servers for two typefaces. Both are set out below.

Australia has no separate cookie consent regime. There is no local equivalent of the European ePrivacy Directive and no statutory requirement to show a banner before setting a cookie. A banner on an Australian site is a design choice, not compliance.

What applies is the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Where a cookie or similar technology collects information about a reasonably identifiable individual, that is personal information and the Australian Privacy Principles apply: APP 3 on collection, APP 5 on notification, APP 6 on use and disclosure.

So the questions are whether we told you, whether we need it, and whether we use it only for what we said. This page answers all three.

A banner exists to collect permission for storage that is not strictly necessary. There is none here, so a banner would ask you to consent to nothing.

It would also be an accessibility problem of exactly the kind this company exists to argue about. A modal that appears before content, traps focus, and has a prominent accept and a buried decline is worse for a screen reader user and worse for someone using switch access than for anyone else. Adding one where it serves no purpose would be hard to defend.

If analytics or advertising is ever added here, we will ask before it loads, make refusing exactly as easy as accepting, keep the control operable by keyboard and screen reader, and update this page first.

That is the complete list. We set nothing ourselves and neither cookie is readable by us as an identifier of you.

• No Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, Matomo, or any other analytics.
• No advertising and no advertising cookies.
• No Meta pixel, LinkedIn Insight tag, TikTok pixel, or conversion tracking.
• No session recording, heatmapping or scroll tracking.
• No embedded video, map, social widget or comment system.
• No local storage, session storage or IndexedDB written by our code.
• No fingerprinting and no attempt to recognise a returning visitor.

Open the Application and Network panels in your browser's developer tools and you will find exactly what is described here.

Two typefaces load from Google Fonts, at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. That request tells Google's servers your IP address, your user agent and the referring page. Google states the Fonts service sets no cookies and does not use the requests for advertising or profiling.

Self hosting would remove the request and it is on our list. Until then this is the honest description rather than an omission, and blocking those two hosts leaves the site fully readable in a system font, which is a property we test for rather than assume.

Every web server records the requests it receives. Our hosting provider logs IP address, timestamp, path, user agent and response code. Nothing is stored on your device, so it is not a cookie, but it is personal information and it belongs in an honest account of what this site collects.

The logs sit with the provider on its own cycle, currently under 30 days, and are used for delivery and abuse defence.

Every major browser lets you block cookies, delete them, and inspect what a site has set. Blocking the two above may mean Cloudflare challenges you more often, but the site will work.

• Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies and Site data.
• Safari: Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
• Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
• Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.

Both are honoured, which is easy because there is nothing here to switch off. If either signal is present, no additional storage or processing occurs, which is also true if neither is.

We say so anyway. A site that ignores these signals and stays quiet about it has made a choice it would rather you did not notice.

This is not a cookie question, but it is the page people look at when they want to know what a site does to their browser, so it belongs here.

This website has one animation: content fades in slightly as it scrolls into view. If your operating system reports a reduced motion preference, that animation does not run and every element is visible immediately. The same is true if JavaScript is unavailable, because the reveal fails open rather than leaving content hidden.

No preference is stored to make that work. The browser reports it on each page load and nothing is written to your device.

Anything that stores information on your device beyond what is listed here gets added to this page, with a new effective date, before it goes live. Where the law that applies to you requires consent, we will ask first.
